Indie is a loving dog cant wait for someone to spoil her with belly rubs!
Indie is a loving dog who loves getting attention from her family! She loves to play, will engage in fetch and will do anything for a treat. She is a very smart dog and picked up all her commands very quickly. She was trained at 6 months and again at 2.5 years for a 10 week course with a behaviour specialist as a refresher.
She walks well on the lead, both on a 7m and 1.8m lead. Her recall is great with treats and a trained whistle and she can sit, stay and drop on command.
Indie loves food and is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Her favourite games are tug of war and playing with other dogs. She engages well with other dogs, regularly plays with the neighbours dogs and at the dog park. We have taken her to the beach plenty of times and she thoroughly enjoys playing with the dogs and splashing in the water. She will not go in water deeper than she can stand though. Indie was introduced to a cat from early on and was always gentle and wanting to play.
She is an indoor dog, has always slept in the laundry overnight but spends most of the day in the back garden.
Indie will bark at strangers when in the house and can be nervous around large crowds of people for sustained periods of time. We always take time to introduce her to new people.
Indie is our family dog. Our personal circumstances have greatly changed across the last 6 moths resulting in long commute times meaning we are out of the house for 12+ hours most days and on weekends. Sadly, we are no longer able to give Indie the lifestyle she needs and deserves. Indie would suit anyone who is able to spend time with her for a daily walk and a bit of play time. She genuinely loves people and curling up by your side. She would happily follow you around all day if she could. Indie is a 3.5 year old red heeler cross. We purchased her from a rescue at 3 months old. She is microchipped, desexed and has had yearly vaccinations and regular check ups at the vet. We are happy to provide all these details.
