Billy is a young (DOB: 1 October 2022), energetic blue heeler who loves playing fetch, going on long walks, taking dips in rivers and lakes and hanging out with his favourite person. What he lacks in size, he makes up for in self-confidence. While people may see him as a small, runt-of-the-litter heeler, Billy sees himself as a warrior!
Like most cattle dogs, Billy is smart and responds well to training and routine. He immediately took to toilet training as a young pup, knows basic commands and is happy staying outdoors all day, then coming inside the house to sleep. He’s a bit of a shadow dog – wherever you are around the house, that’s where he’s likely to be.
Billy has mainly lived in an urban environment where he’s a popular dog at the local dog park and loves playing games with or without other dogs. He is, however, best suited to live on acreage. He gets along well with other dogs – especially one-on-one where there is wrestling involved. Billy can be territorial and a little suspicious of strangers who come to his house, therefore it’s recommended that he be with an experienced cattle dog owner.
Billy is desexed and vaccinated and his adoption fee will be $350.00.
