Fred is a stunning young Man who is a little unsure of new soundings and people until he knows them better. He would love to go to a home with a family who can commit the time and energy to put in for him and show him the world and new people aren’t as scary as he thinks! One who will also continue to build his confidence in the outside world at his own pace and who will work with him on a daily basis with training and socialization to get him to where he needs to be. He has so much potential he just needs time to find his feet as he is still quite timid but once he knows and trusts his people, he warms up pretty quickly and shows his true happy friendly personality. Fred is looking for a quieter home, he is suited to an active household with secure fencing, one with no children or other animals. Fred is microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. The new owner is required to register him.

You can also apply to adopt a dog by completing the expression of interest form.

The team at Domestic Animal Services carefully reviews every application to ensure each dog is matched to the most suitable family. Due to the large number of enquiries at certain times, please allow up to 10 business days for a response to your application. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same dog.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.

Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.

Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
