Ziva is an absolute hoot once she gets comfortable with you. You will see her completely transform into a zoomy, playful, loving girl, who loves a good game and of course to explore her surroundings having a good sniff of everything with her people by her side.

Ziva is looking for an active household as she has a lot of energy to burn being a working breed. She would also benefit from ongoing training and socialisation in her new household, she has a few basics but will need a little more especially so she can learn the ropes of the new home.

She will also benefit from positive outdoor experiences with people and other dogs as she is still a little unsure and underconfident at times but it doesn’t take her long so she should be comfortable in no time.

Ziva would like to go to a home where she is allowed to be inside and outside as she pleases. She requires a home with children aged 12+ years old, one with secure fencing and when left alone for longer periods of time will benefit from toys and enrichment to keep her mind busy and her body active.

Adoption fees

  • Adoption fee – $98.65*
  • Registration fee – $59.70 Concession $22.50*
  • Microchipping fee (if applicable) –$45.05*

Expression of interest form

You can also apply to adopt a dog by completing the expression of interest form.

The team at Domestic Animal Services carefully reviews every application to ensure each dog is matched to the most suitable family. Due to the large number of enquiries at certain times, please allow up to 10 business days for a response to your application. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same dog.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.

Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.

Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
