“EAZY” – Stunning, Young, Blue Male ACD – Mapleton QLD

Can you help re-home “Eazy”?

I’m a local Dog Walker & Pet Sitter and have known Eazy since he was a beautiful friendly 5 months old puppy but unfortunately due to witnessing domestic violence & possibly being abused himself he has lost trust in any new humans or animals entering his life. He is now very reactive to anything or anyone new. I have had him in my full-time care since December 2024. Working on his Rehabilitation & Rehoming.

He is safe with me spending his days living my life; meeting new dogs, going on adventures, getting healthy boundaries & training all to assist in getting him ready for his forever home.

He has had professional Basic & Intermediate training (started at 5 months) and is now working towards Advanced level with a focus on getting better with strangers. Eazy is also Crate, Muzzle & “Place” trained.

He also worked with a professional Behavioural Trainer for many months to help set healthy boundaries and balance him.

He has come so far but also could take many more months to recover from his trauma.

He is great with other dogs once introduced properly on a few bonding walks (I’m happy to assist with this). I have him bonded with around 12 other dogs, 3 of which he goes on twice weekly pack walks with. He also has play dates with up to 5 of these friends with no issues.

He would be best suited to a child free household which is fully fenced & someone who has experience with his breed and understands their genetics when it comes to protecting, guarding & weariness of strangers. He would be happiest on property rather than suburban setting.

Introducing new people into his pack will require a process that the new owners will be trained in by a Professional Trainer. Once you are  accepted you will see the most beautiful, soft, affectionate, smart & loyal dog you have ever met. He is a character & very entertaining to watch.

He is fully bonded to me so the change over process will take time and involve joining walks to begin (no greetings) then solo walks, short stays at your home and expanding from there. He is definitely worth the effort as you will see.

There are plenty videos and photos of his journey on my Facebook page Uncle Mick’s Pet Check-ins: https://www.facebook.com/share/18N5PcdvsZ/?mibextid=wwXIfr
