Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam)Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam) She really gets me high (Bam-ba-lam) You know that’s no lie (Bam-ba-lam) She’s so rock steady (Bam-ba-lam) And she’s always ready (Bam-ba-lam) Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam) Whoa, Black Betty (Bam-ba-lam)
Seriously though, Betty is still a bit of a blank slate at the moment. However, she’s smart, athletic, loyal and bursting to learn new things. Her training will continue while she is in care. She showed very little interest in the cats in the shelter, but that’s not to say she wouldn’t chase one if it ran. Ditto for my horses. She has met and been social with other friendly dogs. She might be a bit too full on for an older dog or a very small breed, but she’d be best in a home with another active dog for company and to show her the ropes. Betty would excel at dog sports, helping on a farm, or with a very active and engaged family who could meet her needs both mentally and physically. If there are children in the family, older kids would be best.
Betty is desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Microchipped, wormed and heartworm treated. Her adoption fee is $450.00.
