Howard, 11, is a lovely and very clever companion. We have this darling boy since he was a pup and he is loyal, smart and such a character.
It is a tough decision for us to look for a new home for Howie but we are moving to New Zealand and to save him the stress of the flight and the cold weather on his old joints we are looking for a loving new family for him. He is getting on and gets a little tender on his hind legs when he exerts himself too much but he is still very spirited and loves walks and chasing the ball.He comes from a family with 2 small children whom he is well behaved with but even so, we would not recommend he goes to a family with little kids as, like many heelers, he can be a little “sharp” in some situations and would be happiest with a family who knows how to read and manage dogs.He is a delightful companion, incredibly smart, very sweet and often a big sook.
