Meet Nona, a well-trained and loving dog ready to find her forever home! Nona is both toilet trained and crate trained, with a solid foundation of training that makes her a joy to have around. She loves to play fetch and is always up for a game, bringing endless fun to her new family. Nona enjoys exploring the great outdoors on long walks, where she can indulge her curiosity and have a good sniff around.

Although she is a bit reserved and still coming out of her shell, she quickly warms up and shows her sweet, playful side. Nona walks well on a lead, making her an excellent companion for daily adventures. Nona is best suited to a single dog household, as she needs more socialisation with other dogs. A secure fenced yard is essential to keep her safe as she explores. She is also best suited to a home with children aged 15 and older, where she can interact and play in a safe environment. With the right family, Nona will blossom into a loyal and loving family member.

Expression of interest form

You can also apply to adopt a dog by completing the expression of interest form.

The team at Domestic Animal Services carefully reviews every application to ensure each dog is matched to the most suitable family. Due to the large number of enquiries at certain times, please allow up to 10 business days for a response to your application. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same dog.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.

Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.

Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
