**URGENT** ‘Reggie’ 8 month old red ACD sweet boy looking for a home with older kids and as an only dog – DAS Canberra

Reggie’s details:

  • Male
  • 8 months old
  • Cattle Dog
  • Adoption fee $102.45*

Additional considerations for Reggie:

  • Needs an active household
  • Requires secure fencing
  • Not suitable for households with other pets

Meet Reggie, the playful and fun-loving boy who is sure to bring joy to any household! Reggie is full of energy and loves to have a good time, making him the perfect companion for an active family as he loves to play.

He requires more positive outdoor experiences with people and other dogs, as he can be a bit reactive and unsure upon meeting new people. With ongoing training and socialization, Reggie will learn the ropes and become even more outgoing for his future, he just needs his new family to put in the work.

Reggie needs a home where he is allowed inside to be the centre of attention with his people. He will benefit from lots of toys and enrichment, especially when left alone for longer periods. Reggie is best suited to a home with high secure fencing and teenagers aged 15 years and older. If you’re looking for a fun and energetic companion, Reggie is the perfect match!

Expression of interest form

You can also apply to adopt a dog by completing the expression of interest form.

The team at Domestic Animal Services carefully reviews every application to ensure each dog is matched to the most suitable family. Due to the large number of enquiries at certain times, please allow up to 10 business days for a response to your application. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same dog.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.

Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.

Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
