Additional considerations for Tonka:
- Needs an active household
- Requires secure fencing
- Suitable for households with other pets
Tonka is a stunning friendly young man, who is full of beans and has enormous amounts of energy. He is looking for an active household that will take him out daily to burn all of the energy he has. He would make a great running partner! He already has some training up his sleeve as he can sit, drop, shake and stay. He is eager to please and very treat motivated, so he is a breeze to train.
As Tonka is still young, he is looking for a family that can continue his training in the home environment. He also just loves to play with all of his toys, and he aces a good game of fetch! He will happily play games with his people but is also happy to entertain himself and play with all of his toys alone. Tonka would love to go to a home where he is allowed to be inside with his people on the couch and one where he can also have access to inside even when his people are not home. Tonka is suited to a home with children aged 8 + years old and one with secure fencing.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.
Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.
Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
