My history
I was born to a beautiful Australian Blue heeler, I never knew who Dad was but I feel I am mostly Blue Heeler stock. My mother had a litter of 7 pups, and we were named “The Lion King Litter”
Mum died as we were born and I was lucky to find a good home with Colin and Sally on an acre of land in Mount Nathan. I have a Border Collie named Marble as a friend to run with and we play and love to run.
I can always beat her to the back fence when someone comes along and this keeps me fit (her legs are shorter than mine). I protect our land and make sure if some one comes near the fence that Mum and Dad know. I only bark to warn my parents that someone is near.
The rest of the day I sit with Colin on the patio while he types away on his computer. If he gets up I follow him to see if there might be treats or maybe we are going for a walk. I love to explore but the lead is not my friend. I can’t get to the fences to say hello to the other guard dogs, Colin seems to think this is a good idea.
If someone comes to visit, I like to sniff them and ensure they are ok, If Mum or Dad come out with them I know they are friends and I get excited for the first few minutes but then when I know all is well I go back to resting, ready for the next adventure.
Skills
If you have time I learn quick, and love to run.
I sit for my dinner and always thank you with a handshake.
Most of the time I come when called unless there is something taking my attention.
I am allowed inside (rarely) and if I do I check to see what’s changed and then sit Infront of the fire.
I would sleep on the bed if I was allowed to and love a cuddle and licking is my other skill!
