Sheila is a super sweet older lady looking for a home to live out the rest of her life, she loves to spend her days exploring out and about and playing her favourite game of fetch, then come home to the comfort of the house and have a nap around her people. Despite her age Sheila has a lot of energy to burn so she is looking for an active family that will take her out each day. Sheila is looking for a home where she will be included in the family dynamics and allowed to come inside as she pleases, as she can get extremely vocal if left alone to her own devices in the backyard. Sheila is suited to a home with no other dogs and secure fencing. Sheila is microchipped and her vaccinations are up to date. The new owner is required to register her.

Expression of interest form

You can also apply to adopt a dog by completing the expression of interest form.

The team at Domestic Animal Services carefully reviews every application to ensure each dog is matched to the most suitable family. Due to the large number of enquiries at certain times, please allow up to 10 business days for a response to your application. Please do not submit multiple applications for the same dog.

Suitable applicants will be contacted by phone to book a ‘meet and greet’ prior to adoption.

Please note, as Domestic Animal Services is open for walk-in adoptions, a dog can’t be placed on hold for adoption prior to a ‘meet and greet’ appointment being confirmed.

Unsuccessful expressions of interest will be notified by email.
