Chubs is a sweet boy who came into the facility through no fault of his own. He enjoys being around his handler but doesn’t tend to seek attention.
Chubs is a young boy at 1.5 years old. He loves being around people and other dogs, however, he will need slow introductions initially to other dogs to make sure they are a good match. He enjoys treats and spending time chewing on bones and working on puzzles.
Chubs has hip dysplasia which will need to be treated by his new owners once he leaves the facility. The vet may recommend ongoing medication or potential surgery in the future. He has basic obedience knowing how to sit and sometimes requires repeated commands before he follows. He can be firm on lead and tend to work from side to side in front of his handler. He will require further obedience and lead training.
