Bailey or “Mr Bailey” as my partner would call him. Due to my partners ill health, we recently sold our farm and relocated with Bailey to Echuca Vic. Unfortunately my partner has just passed away and I need to rehome Bailey.
Bailey is a 6-year-old de sexed Red Heeler dog. Bailey is a companion dog who just loves being with people as part of their life – he is not a working dog.
He is a constant delight – he comes in close and leans on you for body contact, it is so warming. His nose leads the way and he delights in cool weather fresh smells. Throw him a ball or a stick – yes please!
He takes well to people – he is highly social and makes the conversation at times. He will lay on his back and slowly wag the tail when he wants your attention – touch me please.
Bailey hasn’t had anything to do with cats whilst living with us.
Through a close friend, Bailey came to live with us on our farm outside Lockington Vic. 3 years ago. He was the only dog on our property so in terms of socialisation I am unsure how friendly he is, however, in his past home there were 2 other dogs that lived there.
We brought in a dog trainer on farm to assist us – and Bailey responds well to the basic commands especially if you keep the Training Treat in your pocket. If I can’t see him, I whistle and he responds.
He is such a lovely being. I hope someone can provide him a final loving home. There is an adoption fee of $50. He has been vaccinated and I will find out from our local Vet what this was for.
