Introducing beautiful Sal and handsome Tex who are looking for a new home together.
They unfortunately found themselves at the shelter when their owner could no longer look after them.
They love each other too much to be separated so can only go to a family who’ll take both of them, but that’s just twice the love isn’t it!!

Don’t let their mature age put you off, they are still very spritely and love nothing more than being with you.
Tennis balls are their most favourite thing and they LOVE LOVE LOVE playing fetch!
They hadn’t met many other dogs before arriving at the shelter however they have met a few other friendly doggies at the shelter with no issues.
They have not been around cats but are great with chickens – Tex loves to collect the eggs out of the nest and gobble them up!!
Sal can be a bit shy when first meeting new people but with some love and attention she warms up and will soon show you her sweet personality. She enjoys a cuddle but is more independent and am happy to do her own thing. “Whilst I am a lovely little lady 99% of the time I can be a bit snappy when in an uncomfortable situation so am best suited to a home with no children. I can be a bit barky when left alone at first but I do settle.”
Tex is a snuggle bug and super affectionate so a family who’ll spend lots of time with him will make him a very happy boy.
We have to be honest and tell you that they’re not housetrained so they probably can’t spend much time inside by themselves but they should ok if you’re with them to make sure they don’t have any accidents.
They would love a home where it’s just them getting all of your attention and they don’t have to share you with any other pets.
If you think you’re the family they’re waiting for them please come and meet them and they may just steal your heart and go home with you.
