Brick is a Male Cattle Dog X who is in need of a good home. He is 7 years old and was brought to the pound by a ranger. Brick is desexed, microchipped and registered. He has had a vet check and has been tested for heartworm. He has also been given a C5 vaccination, worming and flea and tick treatment.
Brick is physically fit, very ball driven, extremely active and shows no signs of food guarding. He is very sweet and friendly and loves playing fetch with his ball. He is more than happy to bring the ball closer to you if you can’t reach it and waits patiently for it to be thrown again.
He loves food and treats and always follows his bowl back into his kennel after his playtime. Brick is very smart and would love a home where he could receive physical and mental enrichment. Brick would need some training on not jumping up and lead work. The only time he has ever shown aggression was during restraint for veterinary exams so he will require a vet visit strategy. The team at Thornleigh vet hospital are more than happy to help with this.
Due to his breed and personality, Brick would benefit from an owner who is committed to providing training and exercise, and preferably has no cats or young children.
